"u" is for UNBELIEVABLE

Unbelievable: incredible or astonishing

The kids and I are on vacation in Tennessee visiting family.
We got here on June 11 and will be flying home on July 4
and Mike is home ALL alone!

I knew that it would take a little while for the kids to get
adjusted to the time change.
I think that I SEVERELY underestimated how long that would be.

Today was the first day that Adelynn has not had a TOTAL meltdown.
Also, it was the first day that Kaleb listened and behaved REALLY well.

I could not believe that it has taken a full week to get semi-adjusted.
I hope that today is the beginning of Kaleb and Adelynn getting back to themselves.

Here are some pics of the trip so far!

I left my camera at my aunt's house, so these are from my sister's camera.

"t" is for TODAY

Today: during or on the present day

Let me start by saying:
I have been a SUPER bad blogger lately.
I have been so pre-occupied with other things, that I have
put blogging on the back burner.

WELL...not anymore!!!

Today has been a BUSY, yet AMAZING day!
Here is my day (in a nutshell):

Adelynn had her 18 month checkup this morning and
she is FANTASTIC! Here is the breakdown:

height: 33in tall (85th percentile)
weight: 24lbs 10oz (60th percentile)
head circumference: 47.5in (80th percentile)

The only slight concern was the fact the her "soft spot" on her
head has not closed. The Dr. said that we will re-check it
at her 2 yr check-up.
She also had 2 shots (boo)!!!

her reward from the doctor

I cannot believe that Adelynn is already 18 months old...time flies!
I am so proud to be this little girls mama!!!

Also, today was a BIG day for Kaleb...
he graduated from Kindergarten!!!
He was SO excited for graduation...he even had
a speaking part, which I have to brag about!
Speaking parts were only given to the 3 best readers in
each class and Kaleb was one if them!!! : )

After a LONG and EXCITING day, we went out to dinner
to celebrate Kaleb's graduation!
We decided to go to Hod Rod Cafe for dinner!!!

I am so truly proud of Kaleb! I cannot believe he will
be going into 1st grade next year.
He is an AMAZING boy!
We are so proud of you Kaleb!!!
